  • When medically indicated, properly sourced, and clinically supervised, metabolic therapy is generally well tolerated. All treatments require a consultation and medical screening. Potential risks, side effects, and contraindications are discussed before starting therapy.

  • Some are FDA-approved for specific medical uses. Others are not FDA approved but commonly prescribed through licensed compounding pharmacies under federal compounding regulations. All medications are sourced from licensed U.S. pharmacies that meet strict quality and safety standards.

  • Most are administered via small subcutaneous injections using very fine needles. Some may also be available in oral, nasal, topical, or IV formulations, depending on the medication and clinical need. Your provider will review the best delivery method for you.

  • Metabolic therapy may not be appropriate for individuals who are pregnant or breastfeeding, undergoing active cancer treatment, or who have certain endocrine, autoimmune, or complex medical conditions. A full clinical evaluation is required before starting therapy.

  • Brightly Telehealth is a virtual clinic. All visits and support are delivered via our secure HIPAA compliant telehealth platform.

  • At this time we are not offering primary care. We are partnering with patients who have a Primary Clinician but are hoping to expand their treatment options outside of what is available through commercial insurance. We want to work WITH your Clinician, not replace them.

  • No. Scheduling a clinician consult does not constitute or imply a clinician/patient relationship. Medication is prescribed only when it’s clinically appropriate and safe for you, and after you have completed the intake process to become a registered patient of record with Brightly Telehealth PLLC.

  • We work with all of the main anti-obesity medications and develop a plan that will meet your weight loss goals. However, we are continually evaluating new research as more medications are approved within this class.

  • No. Brightly provides ongoing clinician-guided care, monitoring, and follow-up on a monthly membership basis to monitor your overall health and make adjustments as clinically appropriate based on how you respond to the care plan.

  • Yes, if it is deemed reasonable to initiate medication for your weight loss management, those costs will be included in the monthly price. All of these details will be discussed during your consultation.

  • We are a direct to consumer cash-pay clinic and do not bill insurance at this time. Many patients use HSA or FSA funds, and we can provide invoices you can submit for potential reimbursement.

  • Labs may be required depending on your history, how recently you have had labs done, and your treatment plan. We’ll discuss this during your consult.

  • While results vary, our focus is always on safe, steady progress rather than rapid, unsustainable weight loss. We plan for maintenance from the beginning so results can be sustained long-term.

    We strongly encourage ongoing care with your primary care provider and any relevant medical specialists. With your authorization and in accordance with HIPAA regulations, we may communicate relevant clinical information with your primary care provider or subspecialists when appropriate to support coordinated, comprehensive care.
